It's Bills fault?

Ok, I heard this, just want everyones speculation.

Janet Reno made it a "rule" that the CIA and FBI and other gov entities could not share information with each other.

Bill Clinton had MANY chances to take care of Osama Bin Laden. He knew Osama was going to do something horrible.

Bush was the fall guy.

After 9/11 Janet Reno's "rule" was reversed and this is why we have the Patriot Act.

Is this to help Hillary get into office?

Historically, the Clintons have been willing to do or say almost anything to gain an advantage. After all, Bill is the only President ever convicted of Perjury. Hillary has done more flip/flops on the Iraq war than a central American jumping bean.
The Clinton White House ( including the co-president) failed in nearly ever international endeavor they tried.
North Korea has nuclear weapons now, thanks to the Clintons and Albright.
Three chances to get Bin Laden, none taken.
500,000 to 750,000 slaughtered in Rwanda, no effort by Clinton to save one black.
The list could continue ...........................

What warped logic!!

The CIA and FBI never communicated with each other - they competed with each other and resented each other.... Thanks to J. Edgar Hoover....back in Franklin Roosevelts time. Janet Reno had nothing to do with it...it was simply the modus operandi.

As for terrorists, our government didn't do anything EVER about any terrorist group starting with Arafat's terrorist PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) and actually let that madman come to this country and address the United Nations with a gun on his hip.

It was better to ignore these type of organizations hoping they would go away. Our government also used these type of groups whenever they needed to - to their own advantage and selfish needs.

For years, our government supported puppet governments in the middle East and ignored the human rights violations of the dictatorships. We financially supported Saddam Hussein for years - because it was to our advantage...ignoring the genocide and slaughter of his own citizens. We also supported Iran in their war with Russia, Lebanon when it was to our advantage, Syria and other countries when it was advantageous.

Our government uses anyone and any country with money and weapons as the carrot and stick.

Clinton didn't invent it....the policy has been in place since before WWI.

I fear for the intelligence of some of the American voters who know so little about our history, our government, world affairs, world history. These people will go to the voters booth totally ignorant of the candidates, the issues, the history of government, the urgent needs of our country. They never research anything but, rather, make blatant and uninformed statements, repeat rumors they hear from their friends (equally uninformed), listen to the neo-con talk radio shows hosted by entertainers who laugh at them....all the way to the bank.

Thank goodness there are enough mature voters out here that are the majority....who ARE informed, who DO research the candidates, know history and make intelligent voting decisions based on knowledge...not because someone "said" something that fits into our view of things.
