Should I share the good news of Jesus with work colleagues?

Is it better to let my co-workers proceed to Hell and an eternity without Christ. Few UK people have read even John's Gospel, let alone the whole Bible. They are fascinated with foreign religions yet do not know how strong the evidence for Jesus is. Should I risk upsetting the office, or let them perish because it is 'good english manners' not to mention religion???

If I were a work colleague of yours and you tried that on me I would take enormous pleasure in teaching YOU about crucifixion. Keep your superstitions to yourself.

you chose a guy that wants to crucify you as the best answer? Report It

Your beliefs should remain your own business. Christianity is no secret.

Do not try to force your beliefs on upon others. It will only alienate them from you

If your coworkers are smart enough to find and keep a job, they are intelligent enough to find your religion if they so choose to. Leave them alone.

You can share your beliefs in an appropriate manner. You can lead by example and show God's love through your own personal actions. Preaching will never be allowed in the workplace, but that doesn't prevent you from sharing your religion with people one on one, as long as they want to hear it! I am a Christian, but I am not one of those people who wants to shove my religion down other's throats. I want them to be saved, but there is a time and place for everything!

Please allow those of us who wish to perish to do so without submitting us to your outdated pathetic clap trap.
I sincerely hope that one day you Will be floating on your cloud in you heaven and I certainly wont blame you if I am burning in hell.
Personally if hell does exist it would be sitting next to some boring bible basher is an office.

If your life with Your god is so wonderful get on with it and leave the rest of us alone

NO!!!

i would keep your thoughts to yourself no-one likes to be pushed into thinking something they dont want to

I thought God already knew who was going to heaven, and who was going to hell. Make Your mind up.

You should keep your personal views about religion to yourself. Mostly because it's none of your buisness what religion people are and if they follow one and it has nothing to do with your job. YOU may believe that they are going to hell, but others might not and that's fine. That's their choice. They are not going around trying to convince you to stop reading the bible or that god is fake, so you shouldn't be going around trying to persuade them that he is and how they should be living their lives.

Plus, you are garaunteed to upset quite a few people and get a bad rep.

It just drives me crazy. Why do religious people feel the need to push it on others?? It's YOUR choice, not mine. I'm not going to tell you to stop being religious, so don't tell me to begin.

Keep your views to yourself.. everyone has the right to their own beliefs and opinions and although i appreciate you are a great believer, some people may not.. If people wanted to express their beliefs they would of done so, church is more of an approriate place to share your views with people with similar views and beliefs..

What you need to recognise is that everyone is entitled to take responsibility for the choices they make in life. You are responsible for what you do and what you choose to believe. That does not give you the right to press your belief system onto other people.
If your faith sustains you and helps you be a better human being that is a good thing. It doesn't mean that others beliefs can't or won't do the same for them.
It is a matter of respect, not politeness.

Share by example not words, and not in the office. if you feel that stongly you can make time for those folks after work, invite them to your house and just let them see your life, and how it is helping you.
if it is making you shine they will see that and ask you whats different about you.

You see this is the problem with your religon and why its currently so unpopular

You all have the need to shove the dam thing down everyone elses throat

Im 'saved' and quite happy thankyou and I found a way of doing it WITHOUT your lot

Now that REALLY p1sses you off dont it?

you again!
i suggest keeping your opinions to yourself and your colleges complain and get you sacked.
im a atheist have read the bible because i was a Christian for 14 years
stop being rude and respect other peoples believes how would you feel if i show you my proof against jesus, get my point

If you were in *my* office I'd walk away every time you started.

Religion is *my* choice and I will learn, or not learn, about different religions as I see fit.

No

well think of it this way if i thought that the devil was almighty would you want me to force my beleifs upon you but the thing is i beleive in god and i still wouldnt want you to tell me anything because it is my choice to interput the bible the way i want to

why are you so certain that they will perish? are they terrible people? or do you have to be a bible beater to get into heaven now? Jesus said to do onto others as you would have them do unto you. let's leave it at that. treat them with respect, kindness and consideration. and please stop JUDGING! that's not YOUR job.

Do not force your beliefs on others in the workplace.
It will do more to drive them away from the Truth than accept it. Do not let your actions cause them to stumble.
Be a light in the darkness. When they will see where to come when they have opened there eyes. Let them know where you stand. Keep in mind they all will be watching you to see if you hold to your words. Rest assured that God will give you the opportunity and prompting when the time is right. Keep an open invitation to them all but respect where they are at.

Hello,
You don't need any man's permission to preach the gospel. There are so many ways of preaching the gospel. The bible says that '...by their fruits yea shall know them...' If your office forbids you from preaching with your mouth, you can preach with your character. As an ambassador of Christ your whole responsibility on earth is to represent God and the best way to do this is to witness Christ. In doing this, you are not confined to a particular environment because you are meant to witness Christ in every place. See Acts 1:8. Remember, everything about christianity is Love and a better way to express this love is to prevent your co-workers from going to hell.

U need to tell them about God and how good he is. Share the good news - they may mock u for it, but guaranteed some will ask questions and show interest and accept who you are

Those who tease are sad and need to get a life - they wouldnt dare tease any other religion now would they!!

I would not bring it up in the workplace unless you're sure you're not going to offend anyone. In my job we have discussed religion but that was only with people who we knew would have been receptive to the conversation. It was between a group of friends to begin with. We always respected everyone else's feelings.

People and employers in general are very funny about religion and most jobs have rules against this kind of stuff.

If someone should ask you about your beliefs feel free to answer them but don't push them on anyone.

Nobody wants you shoving your religion down their throat. Let them go to hell (if that's what they believe in).

Definitely keep quiet. The best rule to follow for work relationships is never talk about the following: money, religion, politics, or sex.

Chances are they've already heard about Christianity, and wouldn't care to hear your view of it, any more than you would probably appreciate it if a Buddhist or Jew went around the office trying to recruit. Respect others' beliefs as you would want them to respect yours.

And please keep in mind that I mean this nicely, but you don't seem to realize it so I'll tell you. Most people will not think of it as you "sharing the good news", they will see you trying to shove your beliefs down their throats and will not thank you for it. You could also risk offending someone with strong, but differing religious beliefs, which wouldn't look so good to the management at your company. Trust me - just keep it to yourself unless someone asks.

Let them perish, PLEASE! NOTHING on the face of the earth is more annoying than someone who proselytizes! Especially at work! It is rude, arrogant and none of your business! Anyway, never presume to speak for God; He is not judgmental and when you presume to tell people they are going to hell you not only do NOT speak for God but you blaspheme. It is ALWAYS good manners NOT to mention religion esp when it is on the terms you speak of.

No

no. if they ask go for it, otherwise don't bother, it turns people off ..... trust me, i get very annoyed when people preach anything when i'm not interested.

a lot depends on how long you have got

in the situation you describe i would say best to hold fire and SHOW them what you are about and then when they are ready to hear more they will start asking questions about you and what you do and why.

that isnt just good manners but it also brings more credibility to what you say later on if you lay the groundwork first

but use that time prayfully

Do as the Lord tells you.

Caring is sharing. They'll love you for it.
