Is 9/11 Clintons fault?

Ok, I heard this, just want everyones speculation.

Janet Reno made it a "rule" that the CIA and FBI and other gov entities could not share information with each other.

Bill Clinton had MANY chances to take care of Osama Bin Laden. He knew Osama was going to do something horrible.

Bush was the fall guy.

After 9/11 Janet Reno's "rule" was reversed and this is why we have the Patriot Act.

Is this to help Hillary get into office?

Fault? how about Blame? The blame goes to Bin Laden and Al Qeada.

As to "fault" It was during Clinton's administration that the walls preventing complete and easy flow of information went up. Without these walls maybe we could have prevented it.

As to Bush's culpability, 7 1/2 months into his term many of his key cabinet and administrative appointments positions had not been confirmed by the Senate yet. That makes it harder to lay blame on him if his people could not get in there and manage as they intended.

9/11 was the fault of evil people - PERIOD.

One of, if not, the main functions of a Federal government is to protect against foreign invasion. Our government is way too bloated in almost all aspects to focus enough on that function. And ALL presidents and congressmen (except Libertarians) for the past 100 years are to blame for this.

Both are. Bush knew too and didn't act untill after.

Anyone can make a case that 9/11 was ultimately Bill Clinton's fault. However, anyone can make a case that 9/11 was ultimately Dubya's fault too. If you want one person to blame for 9/11, lay blame where it rightfully belongs -- at the feet of Osama bin Laden.

I think this problem was brewing before Clinton took office. Try Carter, he thought terrorists could be won over with love & understanding wich they took for weakness. By the time Reagan came to power their movement had already gained popularity & they were sure they could beat us because <in their minds> America would oppose bloody confrontations, their specialty.

I agree with sarge. You're right, but we need to remember that ultimately it was Al Qaida's fault.

Oh you've got to be kidding me. It wasn't Bill Clinton's fault! It was Bush! Look at how messed up his presidency was! He even sent people into Iraq over a false accusation that pertained to finding supposed weapons of mass destruction! All Bill did was fool around with Monica Lewinsky.
