Can i connect two hub or switch to hub directly using straight cable?

Now i already have a hub that connect to several pc in my office and have one adsl modem connect to the hub and the modem is login directly from Pc. And here i need to expand my network by adding new hub or switch to my hub.

Can i just buy and connect hub or switch directly using straight cable to the free port in hub that i already have to make a network and sharing internet connection?

And can i connect switch to hub directly as mention above..

please explain to me and i will give 10 pt for great answer..

absolutely, you want to use a regular ethernet cable (not a crossover). Buy a switch with auto uplink and plug the uplink slot into the current switch or hub using the cable.
it's a practice commonly referred to as "daisy chaining."
lastly,
I recommend against hubs. if you're using one, try to switch it to a switch, you'll notice a great improvement in performance.

Most modern switches do not need a crossover cable to connect them together.
Unless othewise indicated, port 1 is reserved for that purpose and it will have an internal crossover built in.

The manual that comes with that switch will tell you exactly what you need and what to do.
