Shared folder not showing in network places? |
I have 10 computers in the office .I've got some shared folders that aren't showing up on the computer that they're actually on (if I go into My Network Places) & they're not showing up on my other computer either. Shared folders may not show up in network places. Those are just links, not a list of actual shares. are you sure they are shared? on one of the PCs go to Start > Run > type \\127.0.0.1 My network places populates it's list by connecting to a folder. Go to network places, view entire network and carry on through microsoft network then your workgroup and finally the computer in question. If you access the file from here it will add itself to the list, but it may take more than one connection to it for it to show. if it is not running go to network places and select add network place |
