Shared computer?

meaning there is someone else in the office that we share a software and some files that he can pull up from his pc. does this mean he can get on his pc and see what websites im on. or can he just get to those shared files and such?

It depends of what are you sharing, if you only share those file, he can only see/use/access those files, but if you are sharing everything, he can see all the files in your PC. But he cant see know what websites are you in or know what pages you visited (unless his pc has specials permissions to access the folder My documents and then and only then he can see what pages you visited).

there is allways a way to go around those security permissions, so i suggest be careful if and erase all tracks of your web activities, and i mean cookies, temporary files, etc.

Just the shared folders and files unless he has specific software on his pc that enables him to spy on what you're doing

He can just see the shared files

If this person has the permission to see your files then he/she can see specific shared files.

About the websites if you are sharing your favorite then he/she can see what website you have, otherwise he/she can not see what website is running unless he/she is using a hacking software lol.

Hey,
If your shared computer has more than one account, one of those accounts must be the administrator, the administrator has access 2 all of your documents and websites.
But the other users (not the administrators) can only get access 2 the shared documents.
So if u have some private docs which u dont want anyone 2 see, u can hide them, u can do that by 1-right click on the folder then click properties then beside the atributies, check the word hidden.
If u want 2 see the folders u made hidden, u can go 2 tools then folder options then check view hidden folders.
Good Luck - Meemo
