Do you assume that everyone in the office shares your taste in music?

And how would Jesus feel about inconsiderate office mates who jack their radios up when the cruddiest music comes on to "share"?

Yes, I am in a bad mood today.

No, but my company is smart and has banned radios just for that reason. Radios don't really belong in a production environment anyways.

most people i know hate the music i love, but they tend to listen to crap that has no tone, no balance, no real beat, just a bunch of screaming...i don麓t get it :(

No I do not assume. Each individual has his/her own tastes as regards to music, one cannot force his/her tastes on others.

You have the right to go as your co-worker to turn down their music, and you should if it is bothering you. They can use headphones if they want to blast their own eardrums.

Your office should set a policy about it, if one is not already in place.

Since i am the manager here I impose my taste of music upon my employees.... Good thing too 'cause their taste for music sucks. :) .

I pretty much assume that NO one share's my taste in music.

Jesus would feel that such people are misguided in assuming that everyone wants to hear their favorite band, and would, for the presumption, decapitate them.

Buddha would feel the same way, but would just go off in a corner and start gorging on some Doritos until they were done.

I know they don't share my music preference, but out of consideration for other people I don't play mine. However I do not believe anyone in my office is named Jesus. If there was a perosn in my office named Jesus I doubt that I would I really care how he felt about the other people in the office that would choose to do this.

I KNOW that everyone where I work does NOT share my taste in music. I think I'm the only one there who loves English madrigals.

Everyone in the office likes at least *some* of my music, but nobody wants to hear all of it, so I keep it turned waaaaay down, and usually wear headphones.

I know they don't share my taste.
