MS Office sharing on 2 other computers? |
i have 3 computers and i i have MS office installed on my one computre which has Windows XP Professioanl and its licenced vresion. on my other 2 computers i have windows XP home and Professional installed. i want to use my office on those comouters with out installing the office on these 2 machines. please tell me how can i do this? Why don't you want to install it on those computers? For legal reasons? You can't use Office on those computers without activating it and Microsoft won't allow that. Read up on the help files under network in the operating system. You install the minimum on all 3, via the main ,otherwise no go unless you buy a license from microsoft to use your version on all 3 , then you can do the lot, via a server but that is a whole new story all together. try reading about Terminal services and that could probably help you. You may not be accessing word on the same machine but atleast you will be able to connect to the machine which contains the licensed version. |
