How many of you have a radio in your office for the staff? |
I share an office with 6 other people I am in the front reception @ the sales are in cubicles. The sales lady next to me cannot handle to hear the radio @ all and she is continuasly turning it down so I am unable to hear it. The manager is already after moving it from the middle of the office to the front so I am able to hear it. She recently e-mail our manager & gave him an ultimatium to either get rid of the radio or move her to a different location in the office. What do you think about this? I thought most offices have a radio's! What would you do if you were the boss? I always have -- its a pain when you have a whiner like that, buuuut.... IMHO you need to respect her complaint to a certain extent as there is no real need to have a radio on to do your work. none I bought a satellite radio system. With the FM transmitter, everyone in the office can hear what's playing. What's great about it is there are no commercials. Everyone loves it! If someone is on the phone or meeting w/customers vendors etc. a radio can be a real distraction. Some folks can't concentrate while music is playing. I sometimes have problems listening to music w/lyrics if I'm reading something complex. Instumental is fine but therte isn't much of that on most radio stations. why when you are working are you listening to the radio |
