I earn 拢31 a month from 3 separate companies for cleaning offices? |
Two have paid their 拢31 by Company cheque other has paid cash i am not on any of their payroll as it a general cleaning job of whole of the floor that they all share, do i have to declare to tax man? i have a fulltime job where my full allowance is used i am not bothered how they show it in their books but obviously a cheque is traceable to me will i get stung in the future if i continue to accept cheques. how can i get around this its nto worth me doing if they tax it at basic rate of 22% i provide all the cleaning equipment and goods by the way. - any help or ideas please 拢31 a month?..... I wouldn't blink for that! If you are not on their books ask to be paid in cash. It doesn't matter how low it is, if you are being paid money for a job and you don't tell HMRC, not only would they charge you for underpaid tax, but you could be charged/penalised for tax evasion as well.
