Obama WINS but must share Oval Office with Bush during transitional period? |
Who makes it out alive? What "transitional period" are you talking about? President Bush is President until January 20, 2009. There is no time between then and the election where he's "half-president" or "nearly-former president". Transition refers to the winning campaign's period in which to select a permanent political staff and to appoint Cabinet members and other executive offices. umm, both Obama. He's got the brains of the two. That depends where Cheney is. Both will be alive. As Bush is running out, he'll be yelling over his shoulder, "Good luck keeping your popularity level up because no matter what you do, you will pi$$ off alot of people." Actually, they don't really share the Oval Office. Bush is President until January 20th, so until then the office is his. After that, the newly elected President would take over the office. There is a transitional period after the elections and before the inauguration, but the President-elect has no right to the office until he's inaugurated. If it were a war Maybe neither would come out alive. The country would be better for it to happen. lol ... i don't think they would kill each other. Speaking of the transitional period, at least Bush's staff won't trash the oval office like Clinton's staff did (like remove keys from the computer keyboards). |
