Narc on a dentist for not washing his hands?

I work in a small office next to two other offices, an insurance firm and a dentist. Our three offices share access to a private, common bathroom. Occasionally, I'm in the bathroom at the same time as the dentist. We'll, I've observed that the dentist doesn't wash his hands after doing his business, including his poo job. Well, maybe he's washing his hand back in the office, and maybe he's just sticking his hands back into someone's mouth - I don't know. So, like, should I say or do anything?

My dentist is old so I feel sorry for him even though he dropped all the utensils and put them right back in my mouth off the floor...

No, you cant assume that he is not washing his hands. The odds are that he is washing his hands when he gets back into the office, in the presence of his patient, and that he is probably also sanitizing his hands as well

Absolutely!! Call him on it while he still has time to correct the measure. Remember that as he is leaving the bathroom he has to open the door with his unwashed hands which then completely negates your own hand-washing when you then open the door to leave.

It has been proven in thousands of studies that the best way to decrease infection is by HAND-WASHING.

That is a difficult question.

I would want to turn him in, BUT you don't know that he doesn't use special soap in his office area to wash his hands. He has to protect himself as well as his patients. A dentist takes an oath like a doctor.
Think of how many times per day a dentist would wash their hands. I would go with he has to use special soap and let it go.

EDIT NOTE: Besides, I don't know that he isn't MY dentist and I don't want to think about him not washing his hands...
