Outlook with Bus Contacts Mgr-Sharing?

What is required to share Outlook 2007 version, calendar and date with other users? I looked MS online and says we can share with office staff the date and calendar, but what (OS,software? )allows it to share? I need to know how much upgrading we need to do. We are currently on Windows XP and Office 2000

You must create a public folder first. Go to Outlook help and search for "create a public folder". From there it will give you help on creating a shared calendar.
