What would you do...?

Im choosing between 2 jobs...(im 16)
1-Dads office...marketing assistant for 3 hours every day after school. no taxes, vacation when i want and about $10 an hour. not many hours though...and my boss (besides my dad) i will have to share an office with, and i dont get along with him at all.

2-salon/spa whenever they put me on schedule (including weekends) I would get 7.50 an hour but more hours to work with (and higher pay check) 85% off all services and i would get taxes taken out.

i cant decide..

okay sorry..its not my dad that i dont get along with...its the boss (that would be mine) under him. hes the marketing manager and i would be his assistant

Take the salon job. If you can't get along with your dad it's not worth working with him. You could meet a lot of new people at the salon.

ur dads job

2- i guess...I HATE MATH!!! , k i dun even knw if this question has to do with math, omg im confused............BYE

Go with the salon/spa--if there's no taxes taken out at your dad's office, then it won't qualify as experience when you're looking for another job. And you'll enjoy it more, since there won't be the tension between you and your boss.

i would choose the salon... #1, we all spend plenty of time at work and you should be ablet o enjoy your time there... doesn't sound like you will if you don't get along with your dad.... #2, you will learn and experience more at the salon, you'll meet more people andbe out in the real working work.

Good luck!

The Salon. Your Dad would probably be stupid about it if you picked a job with him, and he would probably treat you like a baby around his co-workers. And he would embarass you major.

they both sound okay. but, it all depends on what you are interested in. are you into marketing? maybe this would be a good experience for you. and you get time off whenever you want. plus, if you don't get along with the boss, have daddy fire him. plus, you don't want to work too much while you are in school. it'll start affecting your studies

Start the independence thing and take the job at the salon. You won't make as much per hour but you will have the satisfaction of making it on your own instead of from dad. Plus you said you don't get along with him. You can do it!!!

Your Dads job would be great just ignore the guy you do not like.

as a marketing assistant u will have more things to learn and what's most important you will have more time for yourself . it's more effective . more hours of work will transform into a torture ...

30$ a day should be enough for you. where a live i can't get paid more than 3$ per hour and i am almost an engineer (one year left of study).

try not to focus so much on the money right now; try to think what prepares you best for life. would u like to work in a salon/spa and develop a bussines in this direction? maybe in this case this job will suit you more; nevertheless you will have to know some marketing (for example) to do this. some things take more time to be learned than others
money aren't everything. it's your duty to find out what you like and try to be very good at it. and it's ok to make mistakes until you find your way. remember you can always give up and go in a different direction if what u do is unsatisfying. good luck
