Why not let 2ND tier candidates have their own debate?

There are too many candidates on each party ticket. The big names already have recognition and get away without barely stating any solid positions. They just BS their way through it while the 2ND tier candidates get knocked because they are actually speaking to the issues.

Also, peole don't know them that well so a separate debate will be able to let voters know their policies more thoroughly; and at the same time, the suppossable 1st tiers can define themselves better among the smaller group.

Is there some type of restriction or do the powers that be not care to change it?

The fact that we catigorize them as "tiers" in the first place shows they do not get equal footing for view sharing. The office of the President is an important thing so they should!

I'd rather see some kind of round-robin setup where two or three candidates would debate, then the next month another set of candidates. But what I think or you think doesn't matter: the corporate media will decide for us.

Excluded candidate Mike Gravel will be holding his own counter-debate in Philadelphia Oct 30.

I wish there were more unscripted debates. Just put all of the candidates in one room for three hours and let them all go at it. For the republicans, have rush limbaugh as the moderator. For democrats, have Chris Matthews moderate.

my god man we are a year away , you would figure you would want a diverse amount of opinions to make the best decision in how our government will be run.

how about we have real debates, what we have had so far are not debates.

it is disgusting how far we have fallen from the true path of America
