Do I Do Too Much Of It?

Actually, my problem is a little strange. I have three gal friends n it has happened twice that one or two of them thought that I was emotionally involved with one of them, but I was not n it was difficult to convince them. For the first time, I was just talking too much to one of them as we used to sit next to each other in office and shared earphones too often while listening songs n other such stuff. I rarely went out for lunch, then she also stopped going out for lunch n would stay back with me, I don't know exactly why, but I took it easy. But these things maybe caused a doubt in the mind of two other friends, both of them asked me specially if I was emotionally getting interested in that friend, I replied in negative but I felt they did not really believe. Then I consciously started to talk less with that friend n everything went back to normal. Now, a few days ago the same thing happened again.

I was talking much to another of the friends even while we were working at different places n just when I was planning to end it she was fired n was in distress so I continued to talk day in and out of her. I was even disturbed and missed sleep for a couple of nights when she discussed the topic of suicide n how people go in for it in such cases n things like that while saying all the time that shes strong enough to deal with it but I had my fears, but by God's grace everything went right n she landed another job after some time n I decided to talk less now to give both of us a little space as she was out of that negative phase both emotionally n practically. Just then, she met with a minor accident n had her toe fractured right on the second day of her new job n I found a little of the same gloominess in her... I kept talking more to keep her some kind of support n she also seemed to like it.... Now she has gone to her home in another state with her parents.

I think Chester David said it all. From the womans perspective, she will feel better if you are up front and then she will get on with it, it's easy to misinterpret "friendliness" esp if you are (as a woman) feeling like something is lacking, so men do need to be careful, but you just don't know how important even your friendship is to her, so don't be hasty to give up on that.

I actually the lack of more sensitive guys that girls get the wrong impression of guys like you. I think there is nothing wrong with being sensitive and empathic, specially with your friends. All you really have to watch out for is that sometimes people do read the signs the wrong way, and the person you were trying to help may actually be falling for you already. Just be sensitive to that and everything will be fine.

I have same story like you. There are women out there, that if you give special attention they thought that you like them and others would think that you are madly in love with that woman. You know what, don't mind them, just be true to yourself and just keep saying that you really are friends. Just make sure your not hurting anybody.
To all the women out there: There are guys who are naturally sweet and caring. It doesn't really mean that they are madly in love with you. Your just a special friend and thats it. Okay?
