I have 2 lap tops, they get WiFi from work, but They can't access the worgroup? |
i was able to get WiFi from work on them, then I made them part of the workgroup but...on one computers I CAN see the shared folders of the office but i can't access them its says "you may not have permission" or something like that you can not connect your computer to your work environment then take it home and expect it to connect to your office network. make sure your sorkgorup is configured right go to control panel and try to do it from there...if that doesnt work right try to go through your linksys and setup one on there Contact your network administrator to get permission for the laptops to access the shared folders on the server at your workplace. I assume that your work machines are part of a domain and that you brought them home and switched them over to workgroup, correct? If so, proceed as follows: |
