How can I detect workplace spying? Can they read the same Yahoo based email that I?

There is an inter-office network that we share, can someone in the office snoop on what I am doing at my computer? How can I find out if spying is going on? Can someone at headquarters ( physically miles away) spy on me? Please give me any detailed answers to my questions?

Coming from a I.T. security person here. We can get whatever we want on our network no matter what.

...but believe it or not there is not enough time in the day to keep track of IM's, emails...etc. for our company (too large)

We get tons of managers calling to "track people"."shadow them"....yadda,yadda when the majority of the time EVERYONE has/will abuse our policy in some way. We know this and take that into consideration and only step in when it's a MAJOR thing (Ex. Surfing Porn, racist or extremist activity ...etc) ......plus we don't have the time....HONESTLY there are larger issues such as intrusion, exploitations...etc that we are monitoring.

As long as you are doing your job and don't bring unwanted attention to yourself, you will be fine in I.T's eyes.

Yes anyone in your office with physical access to you computer can do that . Esspecially your boss . and there is nothin you can do about it . so just be carefull what you.

Hey...
This has happened to me loads of time. The answer is No. First of all answer these questions to yourself.
Is anyone in your office really computer savy?
Does anyone in your office still know hos to type DOS?
Does anyone in your office controll the server and use the network.
If you answed yes to the first 2 questions or all three heres what you do. Install Windows Defender Beta. Run a quick scan before you open your email. And a full scan when you start up your computer. This should stop anyone from reading your email.

To install Defender click on the link.

Hope it helps...
