Can a PC open iWork 08 documents?

Ive heard that iWork is comparable and compatible with MS Office. But if I share iWork files with someone (with Office) via disk, email, etc. will they be able to open and/or edit the files?

Among the desktop programs, however, only iWork, Microsoft Office, ThinkFree, and OpenOffice work with Macs. Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac is expected to be released next year.

OpenOffice (free) has a MAC version and is compatible with most Microsoft Office applications.

Base = Microsoft Access
Calc = Microsoft Excel
Draw = Similar to Microsoft Publisher but not directly compatible

Hi, I am not sure but when u save ur files try and save it in .doc file format and then Windows users can open them. I use Linux and have had a Mac, but I used to use Open Office on it thats why I can't be of much help.
