Should i like a 40-year-old man???

Hi.I am a 23 year old girl. One month ago, i chat with a 40 year old man..He has his own company. But he had trouble with his wife and children. So he really loves to work and he said if he wasnt in office, he would be mad.We shared sorrow and happiness with each other. Our topics are life,religion,food,work,family,etc...not sex.I really feel interested in whatever we discussed because of his intelligence. Then one day, i begin liking him.He likes me too.We both know that and respect our friendship. But now, i feel embarrassed.I dont know i should keep going on our relationship or not.I just want to stop it.Because i am really fallen in love with him.PLS help me.

u r lookin to get hurt but that happens in life
u live and learn
u fall and get right back up

now ask ur self he s married with kids
loves to work alot
now do u think he s going to have time for u

nope
so seek someone else
i know its easier said then done but in time u will realize it

if he's a good guy GO FOR IT! :)

You are playing with fire. He has trouble at home does not mean he is available. Plus 17 is too much of an age gap. Keep him in your life as a friend only. If you can't let the feelings go, stop talking to him.

OH MY GAWSH TOTALLY DISREGARD MY POST

I bypassed the fact that he is married.

WALK AWAY! DON'T BE LABELED AS A HOME WRECKER!

If neither of you have a problem with the age difference there really is nothing wrong with it. However, if you see him more as a dad figure that is not a good thing. The best thing you can do is talk to him and see how he feels about the whole thing.

In my opion age is just a number...My sis is 25 and married a man who is 43, and they love each other to pieces. My concern is that you met on the internet...have you met in person? Whatever you do just be X-tra careful because you never know with the kind of freaks there are out in the world today. I will be praying for you.

40 is way to old for you! You are only 23 and there are so many great men out there for you. Do not settle for a man that has already been though thing that you are yet to go through. You want to expirence life with your partner not be told about life from your partner. I suggest that you just stop talking to him. There are a lot of perverts out there and he is one of them if he is intrested in a 23 yr old!

If you really like the guy then go for it but if it were me i would be finding someone more my own age but thats just me but if you want to you should.
Good Luck!

Have you no self-respect? He's using you, girl. How's it feel to be a scumbag's little f*cktoy? Dump this turd! You can do better - MUCH better!

while the age gap and how you treat it is up to you (i dont think there is any problem if you are prepared to work on it) -- what i see as a problem is the guy is attached for all his protestations does he go back to his wife every night??? if he does then he is really off limits --- best wishes

If you're worried about th age gap-I'm 19 and my fiancee is 36. We've never been happier as well, I fell for him also because he was intelligent, we just get on so well it's unbelievable! I never thought I'd find anyone like him. We got a lot of stick from my parents and friends and have had to deal with a hell of a lot-but it makes me think if we can go through everything and come out the other side best friends still, it's gotta be something special :-)-you can't control who you fall in love with :-)

Whatever happens, I hope you are both happy :-)

You need to walk away. I don't care that he's 40,HE IS MARRIED!

Be very careful sweety!!
He is a married man with a family If he is not happy right now he might be wanting a fling and you are going to get hurt. You are very interesting to him because you are not his wife!
Make very sure that he is ready to leave his wife before you get involved.
It is Trouble with a capital T to get involved with a married man.

Having been on the other side of that situation just let me say this. After the fun was over we had nothing to talk about. She didn't know the shows or bands I was talking about and stuck out like a sore thumb when with my friends. We both got frustrated with the age and generation gaps. We are friends now and I actually introduced her to a nice guy her age. I would not recommend the older guy for you though. It will be fun for awile, but once it begins to become a regular thing you and he are going to get frustrated with each other.

It would be OK except for one thing...he's married. Even if he got divorced, he is cheating on his wife. He'll do it again. With any wife, even you. Is that what you want?

Tell him that the relationship can only be a friendship and nothing more as long as he is married. STICK TO THAT. Don't cave when he says he'll get the divorce, wait until it's done...and a few months more.

Meanwhile, get out there. Go out with single girlfriends. Get involved with a group of some sort so you can meet other new friends. Make friends until you are ready to find a new someone special. This guy isn't available. You deserve someone who is.

hmmm, if u really fell in love with him then go for it but make sure tats really how u felt BUT trust me 90% its sex all mens want and next thing is there will definitely No happy ending to this relationship if any of u step across the line ,u think he will divorce and be with you? lol and when ya 20 plus hes 50 plus my dear and by the time u r his age he gonna be a grand father.lol

Lol :) "He has trouble with his wife and children" yeah, right. Sounds like a typical dirty old man to me. Common, at 23 you should know better than that.

What's to say the guy wouldn't have the same trouble with you as he did with his family?
Does ((home wrecker)) ring a bell? find someone that's your own age. He's old enough to be your dad.. get a real life..

Stop seeing him. He's got a family. You do not want to be the other woman. And you shouldn't want to be involved with a man who would cheat on his wife.

Not from personal experience... I'm 40 and never cheated on my wife... But he'll tell you anything. His wife doesn't love him. Doesn't give him sex... Blah blah blah. If he can get you and keep you on the side, that is where you will stay.

I also think that 23 is too young for a 40 year old man. Not that a 23 year old woman can't be mature, but what're you going to do when he's 50? You'll still be young and he'll start to wear out...

Bad news. And what if he's a serial cheater? Maybe he's got another woman somewhere else? Do you really want to be part of that?

No. End it. Don't even talk to him anymore. Yeah, he's got some experience in life. Sure, he sounds wise and all. But unless he's willing to throw his family away for you, he's just using you. And would you really want him to do that?

There is a nice available guy out there waiting to discover you. But you have to be available too.

I wish you luck.

A~
