How do i get 3 computers/hp(xp)to share one printer through the inernet in the same office?

the printer is hooked to an hp laptop and i have two desktop hp's(all xp)all in the same warehouse all connected to the same internet source.i tried the share options but to no avail(addersses wrong,computer names not right,no connection,etc.)is there a sure fire way to get these to share one printer ?

You need to share printers over a network, not the Internet.

Set up a small Workgroup network in your office, share the printer as it seems you have, and it should work.

^^ nicely said, also you might wanna research setting up a spooler, if the printer is used alot.. to find location of the printer the destination is gonna be \\(computer name that has printer attached to it)\(printer name) no parenthesis

You need to set up a network. Shouldn't cost more that about 拢70. One will act as master (use the one closetst to the printer) and other two will access printer vis this one. You can then share files between the 3 pc's should you wish to do so. The hardware should come with the set up disc and it is pretty easy to set up.

Install it on one computer, then tell it you want to share it when it goes through the add new hardware wizard.
