Will he "fall in love" with me?

I've been dating this guy for about 5 months. He's great, sensitive, caring, a great listener. We see each other several days each week and yes, we're having sex...great sex. He's introduced me to his son and his mother, we've shared holidays and I help him in his office. However, he avoids any discussions of feelings, if I mention them in an email or IM he doesn't respond. His physical affection is somewhat limited to sex...although he will occationally hold my hand. I decided to tell him that I was falling in love with him...I had to do it by email because he won't talk about feelings...his answer was. "I definately have feelings of love for you...but I'm not "in love" with you at this point...however I feel the day may come and for now everything is good."
What are the chances that he will actually fall "in love" with a me? Or, is it more likely that I am Ms. Right Now? I'm not into wasting tons of time on someone that isn't going to love me back...Help!

Well, I would recommend talking to him in person rather than email or IM; that way you can see his facial expressions. You need to let him know that it is important to you to have this discussion and if he still tries to avoid it, I would just be patient. Sometimes you just need to let your significant other know you will always be there for him/her when he/she believes the time is right to open up to you about how they feel. You can't rush someone's heart into falling in love so be patient.

may the force be with you

U have to wait if U in love with him

You are having sex and he's not in love with you? Relationships these days are really something to cry about...

HEY AT LEAST HES HONEST AND TOLD YOU THE TRUTH..... YES HE WILLL FALL IN LOVE WHEN ITS RIGHT 4 HIM AND NOT A LIE........HOLD ON TO THIS ONE

Classic relationship mistake. Don't say the L-word until he does! lol He sounds like he does care and since he said all that stuff about having feelings one day, I'd say he's probably been hurt before and wants to take things slow. Maybe he wants to be 100% sure of his feelings before he blurts them out. Nothing wrong with that. Give him time. Don't say the dreaded l-word again until he tells you first. It's great that you're open with your feelings but for some guys, that pushes them away if they're not ready to take that step yet. I think you two will be fine. Just ease up and enjoy what you have right now. You're not wasting your time because you're with someone who obviously cares for you and wants you in his life. You're lucky girl! :)

If it's been that long and love has not developed as yet, the chances are it never will. He seems to be passing the time until he finds someone he's in love with. Some people are like that, they cannot be alone, they have to be in a relationship, even if it hurts someone in the process.
I suggest you let him know that you are looking for someone who loves you back and since he's not the one you are letting him go.
Or just have a sexual relationship with him, although I suspect the latter would tear you apart!

i think you answered you own question by asking am i ms. right now. it only a matter of when you want to take action and move on. sorry

He's stringing you along. You have met his family, etc etc etc known him for 5 months. He doesn't want a committment, he wants sex.

He has feelings for you, keeping you on a short leash, with your holding out the hope that one day he might decide to love you. It's BS. And now that you have told him you want commitment, he will be looking for his next woman, or grudgingly in slow steps move toward something more, only to tell you "Oh, this is too rushed." You'lll waste years with this guy, if you let him control you like this.

Years.

Life is short. Years.

I had a girlfriend that was exactly like this. "Oh she has feelings from me, but not in love with me." Three years later I left, wasted time. I met another girl, and 4 months later we were happily married, 4 years ago now.
