Tired of waiting!! Please share your experiences with the first part of your pregnancy?

Cycle was due on 8/16. I've taken 2 HPTs- both were negative. Took a urine test @ Dr's office- negative, also. My OB drew some blood to run a pregnancy test. The results haven't come in yet, but I'm gettting so anxious. (I called today to check- looks like I'll have to wait until next Tuesday to find out)

At first, I didn't really think that there was a chance of me being pregnant. But, things have been going on that's making me reconsider that. My boobs are swelling, I'm having to get up @ night to go pee, I don't have much of an appetite, the smell of a lot of things makes me nauseated.

But, if I was pregnant, wouldn't the urine test show positive? My urine test @ the Dr's office was performed on 8/28 (last Tuesday). Please share your experiences and advice!!

Forgot to say this- I've been alternating between hot flashes and being very cold. I've also been really tired. I'm only 24, so I know it's not menopause...lol. I'm anxious to find out if I'm pregnant or if it's just some sort of hormonal imbalance.

My first test was negative and not until I went to a clinic was it positive. The doctor there put it in writting for me. I experienced the same swollen breast and the peeing at night. Seems to me that you might be pregnant.

probably about the time after implantation i was peeing alot more. we weren't trying to get pregnant either so it wasn't all in my head. also my nose got stuffier and my areola's were darker and bigger...this happened before i missed my period so if you are intuned to your body and if something seems out of wack then you may possibly be pregos!

The blood test will definitely let you know. It sounds like you have a couple of signs of it. I am not sure why the urine test doesn't show it. Have you tried to take your test first thing in the morning? The best time to take your test is first urine in the morning because that is when your pregnancy hormone is the highest. Maybe you should try that. Best of Luck!!!

I have been pregnant 5x and they have to do blood tests on me because PT's doesn't show I'm preggo until my 4th/5th month. Never asked why tho.

Um it was simple for me...my cycle is always regular about every 28 days. I was a week late after the it was due on the 31st of May and tested positive with a urine test on the 7th of June! So far I've missed 4 periods...yay! lol Good luck hon.

Anything from your diet to medications can alter the effects of a urine sampling. If u are stressing it 2 hard, that can alter the urine sample. All the things u mentioned are signs of pregnancy, but everyone is different. Constant naseau was my sign, but seriously, ask your boyfriend. Both times I was pregnant, my boyfriend told me before i even knew. Sometimes they can see it in u first before anyone else... let us know what happens...
