How do I share my Address book in Microsoft Outlook?

We have a server here and I was wondering how I could share my address book with someone else in the office. That way we could both have access to a updated address book. We do not have Microsoft Sharepoint or Microsoft Exchange server and I doubt we will be getting those services...SO IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY?

Exchange/Outlook would be the easiest way, but i think you can also do using what they're talking about in this link. I've never done it myself, so you'll have to read up on it a little, but here's the link:

You may also want to look into Business Contact Manager: Business Contact Manager for Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 is an add-in designed to help small business owners, sales people, and employees manage their business contacts and sales opportunities effectively.

This will be on your Office CDs, or you can read about it first and see if it would be right for you.

Without Microsoft Exchange server i don't believe there is a way to share your address book.

Without Exchange Server, I don't know how you can share -- where you both have access the same time. You can send your friend a copy of your addressbook, though. If your addressbook is a .PAB file, you can send it to your friend who can attach it to him/ her Outlook profile or Import it to a Contacts folder. If your address book is, in reality, a Contacts folder, you can Export the Contacts and have your friend import your Contacts. In both of the above, you will end up with separate copies of your Address Book.

To export Contacts, select the Contacts folder, then click File | Import and Export and follow the prompts.

I've seen this done many ways, one is to share your computer access (not a preferred way). Another is to save the file in a CSV format and periodically upload it in the other persons computer. Outlook and Outlook express both support downloading and uploading the file in CSV files.
