Would you share $30,000.00?

If you received lottery tickets as a gift at the office party, and you won $30,000.00, would you share the winnings with the person that gave you the gift?

Hell, naw!!!!! The ticket was a gift, your gift and they shouldn't expect anything either. They probably they they were getting off cheap by just giving you a lotto ticket anyways, they didn't think you were going to hit.

No. It was a gift it's not necessary and should not be expected to get shared. I might buy that person a thank you gift in return but I wouldn't give them money because I won money. If I hadn't won they wouldn't get anything so...........

I think it would depend for me on their money situation. If they are as poor as I am haha I'd give them half. If they have a house, new car, good salary I'd maybe give them $5,000. I think that would be fair. I don't think I could keep it all and not give them some sort of reward. After all the money did come by through luck and if it wasn't for the ticket you wouldn't have got it at all.

Are they in a bad spot? Could they use the money? Help pay a bill maybe? Buy their kid a bike? Yeah, give them a Tho!

I wouldn't share(are they gonna share the taxes you have to pay on the winnings?) but I would take them out to dinner, buy them a gift, do something nice to say thank you. They do not have to know how much you won..just say you want to thank them for the lucky tickets or something like that.

IF it's a gift I don't think the person that gave you it should ask for it back no part of it. If the person said hey you want to split 30,000.00 with me then maybe we could work something out. It is up to the receiver what to do with it if the person gives it without no explanation on what to do with it.

Even though it was a gift. I still give that person may be 10 percent of the money. It's just me. If it 's not for that person then there no 30 grand for me.

Im gonna have to be completely honest and say no, I wouldnt. But I certainly wouldnt tell them I won, either. No matter what amount you give them, unless its half, they wont be happy with it. Just keep your money and keep your mouth shut.
