Can you be in love after 3 dates in 4 mos?

I think I love this man. We work together (though I'm looking elsewhere). When I get up, his my first thought, my last thought at bed, I make up stupid questions to ask him just so I can go into his office. I'm 44, no kid - his kissing actually does make me weak in the knees - something I never have felt before. I feel we are meant to be together, yes our signs say the same thing (hell why not check it out, right?) If he is standing near me, I can barely pay attention to what's going on. We've shared a bed, one night, and oh what a night. Is a 47 yr old guy into one-night stands? We send cute emails to each other, not a lot because of our professional relationship but some have goten pretty steamy. But I do love him. But what is he thinking - some guy out there must have an answer. What to do. Give him hints that I care about him or wait for him to decide?

Oh trust me...you can. I knew this guy for a long time but never really talked to him. Well I finally did and we started hanging out more and more and after 2 wks we hooked up. in 17 days it'll be our 1 yr and we've been engaged for 6 months. So yeah definetly.

possibly if u believe in love at first site then u could have loved him from the beginning and just didnt realize it depends on what kind of guy he is and the things u do on these dates

Why wait for him? You could tell him how you feel and ask him how he feels and go from there...he's probably just as nervous if not more so than you are to ask.

you can be in love even in the first date or even the date has not happen yet. just ask him what did he feel for you like what will happen to us in 3 months.

You aren't in love...you are infatuated. You don't know enough about the man to be in love. Love takes time to develop...it evolves with commitment, communication, quality time spent,you have to disagree and come out of it ok, you have to know the smallest details about each other...there is a comfort that love gives that goes beyond that first feeling of giddiness you have when you are first attracted to someone (where you are now)

and I hate to disappoint you, but even 47 year olds can be into one night stands. If I were you, I'd be direct...ask him if he sees the two of you going anywhere...

Sounds like you have a full-blown, butterfly stomach, crush. I think love can only happen if it is reciprocal. Make sure your aren't violating any type of protocol at work, especially if either of you is the superior. If he isn't asking you out for more dates, then he is either too shy, not interested, or you were a booty call. Take charge and tell him you want to go out again, so you can start sorting out where you stand with him.
