Is there any use confronting a co worker who speaks badly of you behind your back?

You don't have to read the below story if you don't want too.. if not you can just answer the top question :) thanks.

We only have four staff at my work. Before he came, we were like family...now no one likes it - even the boss.

He told another person who works here that I shouldn't get paid more than him (i get paid the same, just that i do more hours)

I've had enough of him being such a ..... head and was wondering if you'd confront him in this situation. Not to mention HOW he knows how much I get paid.....he must have been looking through the computer.

He works out in the warehouse not in the office with me. His father is a share holder in the business.

He's been doing things to annoy me now for ages and this has just taken the cake...... im finding it hard to confront him, but wondering what everyone else would do in my situation.

i can imagine if i do confront him and just ask why i'm not as deserving as he is....he'll back into his corner with his tail inbetween his legs.

go to your boss & tell him/her that New guy was overheard discussing YOUR wages with other employees.
Do not confront him makes you look like a trouble maker.
Let the boss handle it
