Blacks: a question for you?

What goes on in your mind when you're surrounded by mostly Whites of whom a few nasty ones make you the subject of vile gossip because of your race.

and they pretend to be friendly on your face!

I always thought that men would be more racist but in my circle at office, it's a trio of White women who constantly complain about Black women colleagues, calling them derogatory names and the men only enjoy it passively.

I did observe these things in High School as well as college. I must say if I were to swap places with a Black person at my office, I would have definitely lost it.

Please share your real-life experiences

I agree with the first answer. Except that there are exceptions to women gossiping.

Racism has teeth, because people allow it too.

What I mean is, if black folks or white folks didn't give a rip what the others said and how they treated them, then "racism" in it's modern iteration wouldn't exist.

Also, women gossip. That is their communication pattern. Do not try to understand it, you will only get yourself in trouble.

I think it's ridiculous and superficial. Those types of people are too shallow to see anything beyond the physical features of a person.

I JUST NEVER IN MY LIFE CAME ACROSS A SITUATION LIKE THAT. MAYBE SOME WHITES KNOWS WHAT TYPE OF BLACK PEOPLE TO PICK ON AND THE TYPES OF BLACKS NOT TO MESS WITH. THEREFORE, SOME ARE COWARDS AND NEED TO COME TO MY HOOD.

I DON'T KNOW REALLY BUT IT DOES HAPPENS.
