Does one computer on my network need to be running Windows XP professional for file sharing? |
In a small office with multiple Windows XP computers in a LAN, does one computer need to be running Windows XP professional for simple file sharing? WindowsXP Pro isn't required to share files on a network. Just one computor running any form of windows xp should do it! I used to run a two computor network,1 with xp home and 1 with 98se and file sharing was no problem!! No, you can share files between Windows XP Home computers or 2000, ME, 98 computers also. |
