Hamachi as network?

can this program be used as a network? rather than using a server and hardrive to connect, say 5 pc's to one pc to share files off one, like a server in an office does?

if so,how do you set this up?

When you have 5 computers on one Hamachi network, it is as if you are all on the same LAN. You can network the computers together just as if you're all on the same switch, just use the Hamachi IP addresses where you would normally use the internal LAN addresses.

The "server" computer on the Hamachi network is the one that has control over that particular network. The "server" may evict members from that network, or even delete that network. That is the only role that the server computer plays.

you have to have an internet connection to use himachi. Himachi is a internet vpn tunnel so essentially it groups the computers together in the same virtual network"
But you will have to have a server with a hard drive, himachi does not replace the server role.
Yes you can use himachi to connect to shares off other computers. So if you install 5 computers with himnachi and join them in the same network you can set it up to access each others shares.
