Any one knows of a software that will enable more one user to us a pc at the same time ?

I will like to know how i can get more than a single to use a win XP at the same time , where they can share application , surf the web , do email use microsoft office at the same time . A single pc will have additional stations added via VGA monitor and ps/2 converter for the keyboards and mouse . Each user should use the system independently, open and save file . I want a free software that i can use to have more than a single user use a single pc with WIN XP as the operating system . any know of a free software to get this done ?

It can be done but not with XP.. if you had windows server (either 2000 or 2003)you can do this with microsoft terminal services... windows xp can also use this software, but it will log out the logged in user if a second user logs in ... The command to run is mstsc which can be typed in the start --> run box.

This cannot be done due to the way Windows XP devotes resources to user sessions. This can easily be done with Linux using various tools like SSH, XFree86 and screen among others.

Windows is not a multi-user environment, so what you specify can't be done.

You can easily do it with, say, a Linux system, but not under Win.
