How can i add my vista PC to a network? |
I have a Vista based computer and i want to add it to my office network so i can use the printer and share files and folders with other computers. The network has XP professional OS. Any information will be appreciated and thanks in advance to anyone to answer this question. Right click on my computer, select properties, and then change the workgroup name to be the same as the workgroup you want it to be a part of. Then right click on the printer you want to share and go to the sharing tab. There you can select to share the printer on the network. Right click on any folder and select sharing so that you can enable sharing for that folder on the network. |
