Why impeach Pres Bush? Has he broken the law?

Should Bush be impeached and removed from office due to his opposing political ideals (than what the Dems share)?
Or has he legitimately broken the law? Keep in mind President Clinton broke the law and was impeached for his crime, but wasn't removed from office solely because of his political party strength.

I do not think Bush has committed any impeachable offenses. If people have specifics I'd like to see them.

Yeah, he's pretty much lied an this war in Iraq is illegal.

I keep trying to figure out exactly what laws he broke. I keep hearing he violated the constitution, but I dont see how. Policies he has put in place have all been approved by congress.

What law did he break? If he's impeached and removed from office, then every congressman/woman who voted along side Pres. Bush should resign.
But first you have to find a law that he broke.
And there are some things that the gov't does not tell the American public for security reasons, so inorder for anyone to come up with a law that Bush broke, they would need to know all the facts, not just media coverage and onesided views.

Impeachment would be just a slap in the face, like what happened to the almight Clinton.

Yes, he did break the law by authorizing wiretaps in direct contradiction of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Don't be a tool, Cheney is running the show. We need to get rid of hm first.

Yes....he has subverted the Constitution (Bill of Rights).

What law did Clinton break? Lying under oath about Monica Lewinsky? You know the report that came out from 'independent counsel' Ken Starr on the Whitewater Investigation mentioned the word 'sex' more than 50 times - and the word Whitewater 6 times. The only reason w is still in office is because Republicans control both houses and would not authorize an investigation.

They think if they chant this mantra enough before the election it will help them win- pay it no mind. You're right- he hasn't broken any law. Unfortunately, Russ Feingold is a senator from my state (have pity on me) and he brought the specter of impeachment up and I don't think anyone is taking him seriously.
Have a great day!!!

yes he has broken the law of the land - the constitution

keep up with news a little better and you can answer your own questions

Conflict of Interest. Haliburton/War. Oh wait, that just applies to the rest of us law abiding stocks/business owners.

1 - Well, the Weak Sisters don't LIKE him and, for them, that's an impeachable offense. Remember, this is the same crowd that won't even accept as friends those who don't agree with every little bit of their catechism.

2 - No, of course not. If he had, the Weak Sisters would be trumpeting it from the highest hills in the land for all to hear. That which they are trumpeting is mostly a figment of their collective imagination and the rest are their personal problems put out on public display. It's really embarrassing watching them operate.

No we cannot impeach Bush.. I make stupid little questions about impeaching him as a joke, but we really can't... he didn't lie to Americans, like everybody says he did.. I heard what everybody else heard from day one and was against the war, people have their own way of thinking, and if they supported the war at the beginning then that's their problem... goes to show how much people don't think for themselves and just listen to everyone else.. not to mention there is no proof that the president lied about the WMD, and he will go to his grave saying, they had them and they shipped them out... If the President had started the war left the country in chaos then it could be looked at as a War Crime, however he stayed to rebuild, he stayed to get their country in order, he stayed and used our money to help the citizens that didn't die, so therefore it doesn't look like a war crime, but rather than whatever he calls the war today.. been so many names, it's hard to keep track of them all. He has not violated the Constitution even though he's claims the Constitution is just a piece of paper... he has not violated it, and again if people thought for themselves, they would see that. If they actually read any of the laws they would see that. There is no way you can impeach the man....If people would think for themselves, we would not be in the situation we are today, if people would educate themselves so they could base their own opinion on things, we would not be in the situation we are today.. we have no one to blame for anything but ourselves.
President Clinton lied to Americans and under oath about his affair... sure ... but was it really any of our business.. was he the only president that cheated on his wife .. JFK was known for it and is now considered one of our greatest presidents.. so was that really a reason for the Republicans to try and take him out of office? was he not taken out of office because of his party strength... I don't think so

I still don't see any specifics from the group that wants him impeached.

YES , but he will never be impeached .He has to much power with Congress , now

Payback for the Clinton fiasco.

The communislamic fascists want to impeach him because of their hatred for him, they could care less about any evidence. If they gain control of both houses, that is all that congress is going to do for the next 2 years, have investigation after investigation (witch hunts) to find evidence to support an impeachment and, as you know, they are not above inventing such evidence.

What laws did he break?
Protecting the American people?
Sending soldiers to fight after we where attacked? Mispronouncing nuclear and strategy?
Clinton committed Perjury. That is a law. You need to specify what law was broken. As fare as I can see he did not break any laws or he would have been impeached. Oh, you must be refereeing to Domestic Spying. But then again using computers on non US citizens calling from foreign countries is not Domestic. Last I check, my phone bill listed that as an International call. But I'm a citizen of the USA so he can't listen to me ask how my uncle Mike is is doing. But he can listen to Ahmed calling Abu Ahmed when they discus nuclear weapons. No law broken there.

Well, yeah, but only if you're a big fan of the Fourth Amendment.

It isn't about Republicans and Democrats.

Was there a law against supplying North Korea with the materials it needed to become the nuclear threat it is today (via Clinton's "Agreed Program" which was continued by his Republican successors.) There ought to have been.

President Bush swore to defend the Constitution. The Military Commissions Act is one in a long series of contempt for the Constitution, manifested by presidents (from both parties) before him as well.

I'm not sure how many levels down we'd have to impeach to root out the cancer.

Why not impeach Bush!

Your funny and nice spin Dr. Lib

Keep smoking pot it makes you useless to us all

2 points!

No, Bush will be looked favorably upon in the history books, second only to Reagan.

Clinton was not impeached.

Going to war with another country without the support of the UN in itself is an impeachable act.

Not to mention the countless murders as a result of it.

He's the teflon dullard....

it's too late now, should have said something before all these people voted for him.

Well, he is certainly skirting the line of taking unconstitutional actions and justifying it with "we're at war" when the "war" is pretty bogus. I think we should just keep bitching enough that he thinks twice before acting until he is out of office.
