Whats his problem?

The guy that i like very much shares an apartment with me and also works in the same office as me ...Lately things between us have been doing great we went out last friday and walked on the beach and just had an awesome time but the thing is we are not dating and its because he is afraid of my father...He is so afraid of my father that he wont even touch me when my dad is around...This has been difficult for me only because of the fact that he acts soooooo diffrent at work then he does at home and i understand that when your at work its no time to play but he is sometimes rude to me like today he got an attitude because i tried to help him on this paper and it make me feel bad because for 1 i am a very senitive person and 2 it makes me feel that he doesnt really like me . I asked him what his problem was and how come he act so diffrent when we at home and then we at work and he said prob because im not drinking for 1 and for 2 i dont wanna be here. What is his problem ?

For your problem.....let him be a man at one place or the other. Whether it be at work or at home he needs to feel superior at one of the place to feel comfortable with you. Maybe it won't work if you are both in the same workplace and trying to have a relationship at home as well.

your spending 2 much time together. I mean u see eachother everyday & nite. let him have a liitle space.
