What is the cheapest digital camera worth getting? (Canadian)? |
My mom desperately wants a digital camera for Christmas. She currently doesn't have one at all. I don't have a lot of money to spend, so I want to find the cheapest possible camera that is actually halfway decent. Nothing over $200, (preferably just over $100) and I'm in Canada so my options for places to shop are limited to Staples, London Drugs, Future Shop, The Source and Office Depot. Ideally it would take SD cards since then we could share them (my camera takes SD). Thanks! canon A570 IS samsung s630 any thing from sony. they make the best digital cameras, i live in Canada too and I do my shopping from ebay.com you find very good deals ,just buy new one , not used I don't think the model # would change between US and Canada, so consider the Canon PowerShot A460. 4X opp\tical zoom, 5 megapixels. Some stores in US have it for $110 to $115-US. 1. Nikon L11 - 6 megapixel compact camera which is powered by two rechargeable AA batteries and stores images on SD memory cards. There no shutter lag, the LCD is 2.5"; and the videos with sound are awesome [especially recording piano playing]. |
