A question for happy answers. How did you meet your partner?

I met Gwenneth at the office where i gained my first employment.
I was looking for people who liked classical musis, Gilbert and Sullivan and gardening. There weren't many. The office supervisr told me to "Try Gwen, She likes those things."
We seemed to become friends quite soon, going out to shows and sharing gardening times at each other's houses. After evenings out, we would share a kiss. This became more serious and Gwen asked me shold we just be friends or go on as we seemed to be.Thank heaven we went on. After 3 years we purchased a house and lived happily. If not ever after that is another story

In college, I was an internet freak. My favorite site was blackplanet and I would go there every time I had free time. On my winter break of 2004, The night b4 New Years Eve, I was looking for a date to chill with or something to do for New Years Eve. I thought since I never spend a New Years alone, why should I that year. I was online and this girl who use to email me sporatically emailed me to ask me what was I doing at home on the computer when I can be out having a nice time. I told her that I didnt have a date. We went back and forth emailing until we decided to exchange numbers. I called her and we talk for about 3 hours until about 3 in the AM. We even had a very "interesting" moment on the phone that I wont go into detail with. We decided to meet up the next day and we spent New Years Eve, DAY and 3 days post together just enjoying each others company. I swear to you the days that i spent with her felt as if I knew her for years and NO ONE else could match the feelings that were going through my head. Now, we happily engaged and we live together with our kitten with plans to have children in the near future.

My boyfriend and I met on VeggieDate, a site for vegetarians of all things. We both write scifi- fantasy, and we have loads in common besides our food choice! We bought a house together a year ago.

I met my future wife at church. Her uncle invited me and her and she showed up with her little girl and a friend ,who also was very pretty( the little girl and her friend) The next time I saw her was at a Nite club along with her friend ( I'll call her Mary) I liked both and often wonder today what if I had chosen the other girl instead of my wife to go out with because my wie had fertility problems late on when we married a few yrs later. I love children and would have waned nore than the one I had from a previous marriage

I met Jesse at UW library. I was studying for one of my tests in Immunology when he approached me and asked if he can share table with me. I wasnt really paying attention to him, when i said YES. 3 hours later, he striked a conversation and asked me to go to starbucks. Then the rest is history.
