You're at the office and discover you have crap on your shoes....?

you discover crap on your shoes but didn't notice it right away because its dried and mutes the odor. However you can now distinguish the odor that has been a mystery to you all day. You have two hours left at work, but the smell and thought of it is torture. What should you do?
1) Use the floor bathroom (which is in near constant use and be outed for cleaning of feces in a shared sink)
2) Tough it out and clean up the mess when you get home.
3) Take a stroll outside and do you best to leave traces behind on a lawn?
4) Head into mall and use a public sink?
5) Use the toilet stall that gives you some privacy?
6) Other suggestions?

The major dilemna is that your time is watched closely, so if the option cannot be performed quickly and quietly, then it is not an option.

Go to the bathroom and moisten a papertowel with water and soap. Take off your shoe and clean it off. Roll up the papertowel in another papertowel and dispose of in the trash, so the whole bathroom doesn't smell like what you stepped in. DO NOT put your shoe in or near the sink. Just keep using the moistened paper towels. To heck with what anybody thinks, you are not fouling the sink, you are disposing of the used towels properly and you are taking care of your shoe.

Wash your hands really well, and get on with your workday. No big deal.

Take your shoes off, put them in a plastic bag outside the door and get them on your way out at the end of the day.

in a pinch, I'd try Number 3

borrow the fire extinguisher
slip off to the ladies bogs(loos if your well spoken)
and blast the dog dump off the shoes with a few well aimed squirts ,make sure its a water and not foam hydrant otherwise any colleauges entering the crapper will think you shave or something

Complain to everybody about the sh**ty work environment.
