Confess or not to confess:?

I have this friend whom I really like. We鈥檝e known each other since college, and were still together at work. We became close friends at work, which most of our office mates wonder if we鈥檙e already in relationship. A year ago, he told me he has a girlfriend. But I did not believe. He don鈥檛 show me her picture, he don鈥檛 even share her name. Its actually a secret and he said he don鈥檛 want others to know. And it really makes me wonder. I attempted to keep distance, but I failed. We鈥檙e still close friends up to now. We go home together after work hours, we share top secrets together, and I even have his e-mail passwords. Humors in the office get even stronger. Its quite hard and sad that people think I鈥檓 his GF, which in reality, I鈥檓 actually not. I really cared for him so much that I sometimes I think that my feelings are spilling off. Though sometimes I feel special and sometimes not, I really cant read his mind. If I can鈥檛 b his girl, I can鈥檛 afford to loose him as a friend. We are about to have different jobs and I am planning to tell him my deepest secret before we take our separate lives. I don鈥檛 actually intend of disturbing his peace, just so he knows before I left.

The only thing I can say is don't say anything to him about it. Since you will be going your separate ways, there is no sense in telling him. There is nothing he could do to act on it and it will just make you both regret the time you had together. Nothing good could come of it. If you wanted him to know, you should have told him long ago when you had the chance. Sorry.
