Has anyone else noticed how whenever the subject of sushi is brought up everyone gets excited? |
Whenever, be it at a social gathering, the office, etc., sushi is brought up nearly everyone gets excited and has to share what kind of sushi they like and try to convince people that don't eat it that they should. I love sushi, but it seems like so sort of cult, lol. Yes it is definitely weird. Yep, same around here. My fav is the fresh water eel. ; ) Yes, eating sushi is quite trendy. I'm with you on this one! That is because eating sushi has become extremely trendy. It shouldn't be looked at as bad. A lot of people have become aware that sushi taste good and is healthy! I guess it probably depends on where you live--here in California its been around so long it's no big deal--but our relatives came out and visted from the midwest and thought that they were so chic eating sushi and couldn't wait to go home and tell their friends ya, it's good.. but it's food. People always get excited about stuff they're passionate about. Talk about sex and you get the exact same reaction. I'll take the yellowtail nigiri. lol. It's true. Sushi seems to be the latest cool thing to eat, almost like it's the latest fad.. Sushi is in, 'cool' people go to sushi restaurants with friends, to hang out, drink oolong tea in oriental cups, and eat sushi! At least it's healthy for you. i like sushi. everyone i know either hates it or likes it. I think sushi is the new pizza. I love it. |
