Why won't my wireless internet laptop connect to the internet?

I just hooked up a Netgear WGT624 on my office computer and a WG111T on my laptop. Everything appears to work, I can share documents but I can't get the internet to work on the laptop. I use SBC DSL for connection - any help out there for my settings?

enter the DNS of the ISP in ur router's DNS setting.check if the DSL is up if it is, then it should work.
allow the router's DHCP

Have you checked the firewall settings?

Depending on your OS ( windows 2K , XP etc.) you need to go into the internet connection wizard and tell it you have wireless now so to speak. Set it to DSL of course. Set it to the recommended settings also for how to determine your connection. It might still be trying to connect thru a phone line it can't find!
Your software that came with the Netgear should have gave you the instructions for this as part of the installation.
If you have the software i recommend removing the program and reinstalling it. Make sure to check and see if it guides you on what settings to make via intenet connection wizard or your control panel- internet connections portion.( control panel can be found at START - lower left hand side- cliock control panel then choose the icon for setting up the internet connection.)
Bottom line - program has to be installed and on - then PC needs to know it is installed and now you have DSL.
