My child was abused at her daycarecenter. Where I can contact in TX?

From daycare screen I saw my daughter's teacher took her blanket away
from her hand & throw to the top of shelf without any explanations. Let her cryed out by her self. I rushed in, hold her up & went to the
instructor's office rightway.
Next day, the instrutor told me, that teacher said she told my daughter twice to put her blanket away, but my daughter said no.
Also, teacher had bad day she was frisdrdby her family problem. so she did that to my 3 years old daughter. If I wouldn't stop by the screen & find this horrble things rightway, I can't think how poor this little innerscent girl's hopeless day. The instructor also said to me that she does not like I share those information to the other parents. She said I exchange phone number with other parents to share the information at daycarecenter was against law

There must be an agency that licenses daycare centers. Check with your city/county. Take your daughter out of that center right away before anything else happens. It's not against the law to share your concerns with other parents. The more people who are aware of the problem, the better. You need people to back up your story.

Your daughter's safety is the most important factor here. I think the teachers could be fired or disciplined and the center fined or shut down. It sounds as if they don't know how to deal with kids, or care about them.

Call the local police department, The Better Business Bureau, A lawyer for advice, anything, don't just sit there and let another kid possibly get abused. Someone from one of these departments should be able to help you.

It does not at all sound like your child was abused. You scare me more than the daycare worker.

Well, first off, they seem a little defensive. Probably for a reason, I would find a new daycare. Report this one to state licensing.
I have never heard it to be illegal for parents to exchange numbers for kids in childcare. How else do you set up playdates?

I'm studying to be an elementary teacher and we were taught to go to the advisor, and if that doesn't work go above their head, try the owner and if they blow you off too then call CPS and tell them what happened. You have a right to tell other parents about the teacher's behavior, they have a right to know. And if nothing happens you could try your local rep. or even go talk to your local newspaper and see if they have had any stories about your daughter's daycare.

Why dont yu tell the director that you see this as a good chance to teach both your daughter and the teacher some things and to help you with it. For example, the teacher could apologize to your daughter and tell her that she sould not have been so rough on her and she is sorry and wont happen again. And your daughter can tell her she is sorry for disobeying and will behave better from now on. And last, YOU should talk to the teacher and tell her you were unhappy with her behavior but understand anyone can make a mistake, but you dont want tension in your relationship, what you want is what she should want too, the best for your daugther. Its better to teach kids to solve conflicts, to apologize, to realize that people make mistakes and we can forgive them and expect them to do better or else!! You wont always be able to be there with her in the future, but if you teach her some of these skills she will be better off. If the day care does not want to cooperate with something reasonable and positive, then why keep your daughter there?

You sound like you're overreacting. You should have first talked to the teacher if the teacher's taking away the blanket from your daughter and throwing it abused your daughter.

I think you should think back on the situation with a calm mind and talk to the teacher about it.

First THING, JOB 1, GET THE KID OUT OF THERE ! My little guy came back from day care with 2 huge bite marks on his arm. I pulled the daycare worker aside and showed her, she said that she saw it, and thought that he did it to himself, after pointing out that this was anotomically impossible for him to bite himself on the back of his arm, I told her
"You have a "BITER" in here, my guy has 2 bites marks on him (BIG ONES), that means he's NOT being watched, If I ever see this again, I'm calling child protective services, and this place is going to look like one of those scenes from the T.V. show "COP'S", GET IT !", I was so pissed off that I just got him out of there the next day, and into a better place. I thought this place was good, "help" is the problem with day care.
