My guy friend and I are being teased a lot. How can I make it stop?

I have a guy friend at work. We have been very tight and we hang out a lot together, but we're being teased at work and it's tiring. Plus I think this hinders other guys from approaching me because they think that my guy friend and I are an item.

I have told our office mates to stop teasing me with him. Im the "class clown" at the office and people just never takes me seriously. I really like my guy friend but now Im thinking of avoiding him just to stop all this rumors and teasing. Also I'm being teased to a bunch of other guy friends of mine. I am a bit of a tomboy and shares a lot of common things with my guy friends. My girl friends at work had told me that they're teasing me with my guy friends because I dont have a boyfriend, which is true. hehe

I think the only thing you can do is to ignore them. Telling them to stop is just telling them that their teasing is getting to you which probably makes them happier. When you ignore them, they will think that it's no longer as fun and they will stop. Don't avoid him because it will just seem as though you two have something to hide. Try to pretend it doesn't bug you.Good luck!

Well do not worry about it. They make fun of you to make themselves feel better. I was made fun of alot when I was younger and I was told ignore them, and I did and I felt better, cause they are making fun of you to make themselves feel better, u are stronger then them for not giving in, Hold Strong and good luck.

A word of advice; leave the anxiety aside for a moment; when you finally decide to get married, who do you what it to be to? Some guy you might think is sexy, but you really don't know very well; or a friend you know and trust?
Think about it.

Just say "So? we hang out. We don't have a thing going." But don't avoid him. If u r really good friends, and are really close, maby u should try having a thing between u. just to try. if it doesn't work out, continue being friends and ignore the teasing.
