OK Women, be honest: Have you ever just wanted to 'Bobbittize' a man, if only in a fleeting moment of anger?

Back in 1993, I worked in an office with a 50/50 mix of men and women.

The day the Lorena Bobbitt case hit the newspapers, one female co-worker photocopied the article and distributed it to all the female employees in the office. They all had a nice little gigglefest, and after they calmed down (which took about 3 days), some of them told me that it was funny because "Every woman has thought about doing that at some point in her life." They then went on to say that it was just a quickly-dismissed notion; that they would of course never do anything like that, but it was a thought borne of fustration with a man.

So I put it to you - has this notion ever crossed your mind, however fleeting, and however frustrating the circumstances? If you care to, share the situation that prompted that notion.

... And for the love of God, please don't say any of you entertained the notion of using a serrated knife to do the job.

However, if you've ever read the book, "The World According to Garp", you'll be amused at the chapter about Michael Melton after the accident. It's actually quite funny!

i must admit, i seriously fantasized about doing that to my rapist. a serated knife wouldn't have been bad enough.

but that was an extreme circumstance, i'd say. never, i repeat NEVER have i thought about doing that to someone who did not basically torture & rape me for a week.

Oh, absolutely. I've wanted to do that tons of times. I never thought about a serrated knife 鈥?I always thought a very large pair of scissors would do it.

No. I did want to poison him, but he was convinced I was doing that already, so he actually gave me the idea.

I did try to put a spell on someone once who stood me up on date, in which his d*ck would grow smaller and smaller and never work again. Because I never heard from him again and I was just a beginner I have no idea if it came true. Probably not. Pity.

I reflected for a while on your question and I can honestly say I have never thought that. I just couldn't hurt anyone that way, and can't imagine how anyone would do that. I don't think I've ever inflicted pain on anyone intentionally--it's not in me at all. I have truly despised some men for very specific reasons, but even then, it never crossed my mind. Now, if you ask if I've ever wanted to kill someone--absolutely, and I won't go into why. It would be quick and painless though--no long, drawn out torture. I would rather die myself than cause pain to someone else.

Yes I have, when the ex-hubby decided to jump the fence and graze the "udders" of another cow. I was arrested for such a comment and was given a lesser charge from terroristic threatening to harassment. After that "wonderful" incident, I left his sorry bumm to continue grazing on the "udders" of the new found cow. Saying it is one thing, but doing it, is another.

Oh well, life goes on, with or without the loser.

some men are very cruel to women and I would guess that is where those thoughts would arise. but if a women lets a man treat her horribly (besides rape, truly sorry to hear that just me) that is her choice.
