Please help??

I am 26 years old and have been working in the restaurant industry for about 10 years now. I work an average of 80 hours a week and even though I am earning a reasonably good amount of money, have decided to change careers.I intend on going into the printing business with a business partner and will thus be working solely for 50% profit share, by means of marketing this venture and delivering printing orders to our clients.(Normal office hours)

Do any of you have any advice with regards to working with this kind of payment?

Do any of you think that this is a bad idea?

The only advice I can give would be to keep your eyes open. Trust no one until they have earned your trust. Be the devil's advocate and ask all the difficult questions that most people are afraid of asking.

Going from an environment where you have worked for someone (I'm assuming this is the case) to an environment where you are responsible for a whole lot more you were previously shielded from does tend to mess with ones mind, but it can be extremely lucrative and rewarding.
