What would be the best move for me?

Im not sure what to work as though.

This is the Job I imagine myself in:

I see myself with my own personal office that is a part of a huge building .
I see me working with celebrities helping to make them happy and get thier job done.
I work with a major TV broadcasting station. ( MTV is my dream job)
I make alot of cash for what I do in this job. Im in control of some stuff.
Every once in awhile I am on T.V sharing my expertice.
The problem with this job is that I dont really know what All the paperwork I do is for?

I also don't know if I am doing math like bills, Am I reading scripts, what am I doing behind that big wooden desk in my office!

Unfortunatly I dont Know what major leads to this kind of Job. I believe its communications...I have an interest in T.V and such. But I dunno. It is very corporate...so someone who does corporate stuff please tell me about it!! thanks!!!

The good news is that since you know what you want (and quite specifically) you have a good chance of getting there with enough work and persistence. The bad news is that it will take a considerable amount of work and persistence because you don't get jobs like you described by walking in off the street.

1. Entertainment attorney. Requires a 4 year degree and law school, and then you have to be able to get on with the right company. Since you will need to earn some credentials while still in law school, I suggest a school in Los Angeles--many good ones there: USC (my alma mater, and several fellow students were seeking careers in entertainment law), UCLA, Pepperdine, Loyola, more...

2. Entertainment agent. You will need at least an MBA, and will probably need to know someone in the business in order to break in.

Get a job, some experience and then you'll get to where you want to be. Looks like you'll need to start at the bottom in a media corp and then take jobs that look interesting but in the same line of work. Never pick a job becuase it might climb you higher (you wont enjoy doing it). Take jobs which broaden your experience and get you to better jobs.

It is a fine sounding job, but it seems to be an amalgam of fantasies, and not one that correlates with any single employment opportunity.

If you want to get into the music business as a non-musician aiding musicians, I would recommend going to school for sound engineering, and then apprenticing somewhere where the music industry is set to take off.

But that would require dedication to the craft of sound engineering itself - not ambition for the cult of celebrity or being famous. People get famous for doing interesting things with film or music - not for wanting to BE famous (unless you are Paris Hilton.)
