Women domination..wherever he goes he is getting instructions, domination from women..?

i know my friend is working in a company where one woman is the chairman. she does well and good name also. she has been selected as chief of share marketing association. ok..my friend is working in her firm. His immediate superior also happened to be a woman. The section he is working is full of women staff and no male staff. He is sincere in works and had a good name and expecting his managerial promotion. He called me one day and his face is so bright. on enquiry, he says that wherever he goes, there is much women domination. i asked him to explain in detail for which he says that until he goes office, his wife is extracting maximum works, in office my immediate superior often calling and instructing, besides that his co-staff then and there coming to clear their doubts..once in a week his chairman ordering him for discussion of one week work which is lasing nearly 2 hours. he says that he is totally caught of woman domination..he pleads help. He is so innocent.how to explain?

face is not so bright.. please read like this as 'not' leftout.

I see no problem here. Gender seems to be less relevant in your description of his life than the fact that others tell him what to do and he does it. If you're sad for him, it's probably not based on gender but based on believing he's being pushed around.

My job situation also requires that I submit to leadership, so I do. It's a dance in which my employers and managers give me a paycheck, benefits, and some sense of job security; and my responsibility is to perform the tasks set out for me. I see no problem in meeting my responsibilities at work--regardless of the gender of those who tell me what to do.

Most women deal with this from men daily. If he is so unhappy, he should get a different job.

Edit: Would it bother him less if his supervisor was a man?

He is an employee. That means other people tell you what to do. Try to explain what it means to go to work for someone else. They won't pay you to come to work and do what you want to do. It's not like welfare.

I think maybe he needs to look at his attitude toward women. If he feels he, as a male, is superior to women then having Supervisors and other women direct his work would make him angry. If he looks at them as equals, it shouldn't make a difference.

His wife expects him to help with the work at home? Do they share the chores? That would be a fair exchange.

He may have to consider getting another job, or simply accepting that the working conditions are what they are.

I have several times been the only woman in an all-male workplace and it does have its disadvantages. It can feel alienating, and one has to be a little careful that workplace friendships are not misinterpreted.

However, if you friend has an open and honest personality, and takes care not to play office politics, he could try and become a little more friendly with his colleagues and share some light hearted conversation with those he feels most friendship towards.

That way, he will feel less as though he is being 'pushed around', and will have a sort of 'safety valve' of someone to say 'wow the boss is in a mood today!" ~ all employees need some sort of release for rensions.

Best wishes :-)

If he's an employee, he has to work for his superiors in that office, no matter whether they are male or female.

I have to work for a man, but my two immediate supervisors are female. I have several staff working underneath me in the company, around half of whom are male. They listen to me, or they get fired. There is a male supervisor who works at the same level as me, and they have to listen to him as well.

If your friend is not capable of working in a team, that's his problem. If he worked for us... well he wouldn't for much longer.
