PLease help not sure what to do? |
I recently revieced a negative performance review, my work situation sucks, where as I was supposed to have one boss I have two. One never deals with me the other interacts with me on a daily basis. I I am in my 20s office is 40+. The one women is my supervisor hates me and I hate her, she contastly micromanges me makes no effort to communicate with me and cuts me out of all the perks of the job like expensive dinners with clients. Other people in the office I have befriended because they hate this women. The women is 2nd in command to my other boss and also does the lions share of his work for the unit. I know I am not long for the job started sending out resume looking at graduate school. I want to leave on my own terms not theres, is a call to HR worth while to document what has happened? I know I am being railroaded, however the job is a trainee postion . I have also found out others in the offfice are lining up to file hostile work enviroment at the women. I dont want to get drage Always remember HR works for management and not the worker bees. If you go to HR, there is a good chance one or both of your current bosses will "find" a reason to fire you. Considering you are in a trainee position and recently received a bad performance appraisal, they are probably looking to get rid of you, anyways. Leave with your pride in tact. Continue to look for a new position...if you can, leave as soon as possible. However, do not jump into another bad situation, while trying to avoid another. Do your homework before making any decisions. Good luck! i say file a complaint of some sort and leave. having a job you don't enjoy is bad for you, physically and mentally, believe it or not. people who hate there job are more likely to become depressed. try finding a job with an outstanding work inviroment. How long has that woman worked there? She obviously has alot of power there. It would be hard to overthrow her unless the entire office unanimously voted her out. If I was you, I'd find a job elsewhere. I feel when you started your training, there was already alot going on and anyone else getting this position would of got the same treatment you're getting. Its easy to put the blaim on the newbee. It is a bad situation when the only commun point you have with your co-workers is your collective hate for your superior. I would leave before they fire me and not involve myself in their battle. |
