Help me I am scared?

Please Read I need help!!!!!!!!!!!?
recently revieced a negative performance review, my work situation sucks, where as I was supposed to have one boss I have two. One never deals with me the other interacts with me on a daily basis. I am in older office everyone is 30-50s and I am in my 20s. The one women is my supervisor hates me and I hate her, she contastly micromanges me makes no effort to communicate with me and cuts me out of all the perks of the job like expensive dinners with clients. Other people in the office I have befriended because they hate this women. The women is 2nd in command to my other boss and also does the lions share of his work for the unit. I know I am not long for the job started sending out resume looking at graduate school. I want to leave on my own terms not theres, is a call to HR worth while to document what has happened? I know I am being railroaded, however the job is a trainee postion with countless other competiors that would scoop me up.

I would look at this as a sign to look for another job. There is no reason you should put up with this and there are plenty of other rewarding jobs out there, too many to worry about this one. Would stirring up trouble really be worthwhile? What kind of proof can you produce to prove this? How well do the "bosses" like this woman? I would just blow it off and get another job. Good luck!

do better

I would say you should look elsewhere you don't have to be unhappy

Offer to give HR an exit interview when you leave, but secure a different job first.

You just need to be yourself and keep your nose low and every thing will work out maybe all the people will notice how mature you are being and start to admire you

Hey,
I work in HR. You should contact Employee Relations and speak with them about your issue so that they can be aware of what is happening in the work office. HR is always there to help as well.

You are young and if this is stressing you out that much maybe you should see what else is out there. Just dont quit without having a new job lined up.

Good Luck,

If you cannot talk to the supervisor, then you need to discuss with her boss. If you still get no where, then you can go to HR. Tell them that she has created a hostile work environment. If it is a big company they will know what that means and the ramifications it could have on the company.

it sounds like you're an intern.....I was also in that situation, graduated from college....the head dentist was an a**.....he really, use to pick on me, because he said i suck, but stick to it, and when it's over leave, and get some real training, that's what i did....I'm happy i did it!

office politics do suck very much.
start looking for a new job and get out of there as soon as possible.
in the meantime, lay low, dont get in anyones face, and dont let their b.s. affect your personal life....trust me, its not worth it.

good luck to you!!!! :)

You're probably being micro-managed because you are not showing your supervisors that you can handle the job on your own. It is not about your supervisors hating you, you are just making their job harder because they feel they must micro-manage you. They are micromanaging because you have not given them the confidence in you and your work skills.

They probably have no confidence in you because you have no confidence in yourself. The easiest thing to tell you would be to quit and find a job elsewhere. The problem with that is that you are going to be taking you to your new workplace. You, the person with not enough confidence to perform his/her job without supervision.

The best thing to do, is to look at your performance review objectively--I know it's easier said than done. Really review it and seek to find if there is any truth to it. I'm sure there is truth to it.

Start making changes to improve on the areas your bosses say you need to work on. In fact, ask your bosses to help you with it. They will be impressed that you are actively seeking to change, they may even help you better yourself. Also, it will make them develop more confidence in you. Before you know it, the micromanagement will diminish and wane. YOur bosses will develop better opinions and view about you.

The thing about situations in life is that everything that happens to you, every situation, everyone in your life, you have attracted them to you. Whether we like to admit it or not, we play a major role in our life experiences by our actions and perception.

Do all you can to find another job as fast as you can. It sucks to have to feel that way at work. A lot of people on the job have fun manipulating others and making things difficult. Ask St. Joseph the Worker to help you find a Better job.

God Bless You!
