How do you manage your relationship with your office mates, your boss niece?

You two the only people that your boss trust so much in the company. She's a good and well-behaved actually. Not all people in the company know that your boss and she are uncle and niece for professionalism reasons. You two has shared so much things including your boss weaknesses or your opinion about the company. Do you think she can tell his uncle about what you have said, e.g. family reunion, etc?

I think I understand your question. My husband worked for years for a family owned business. I can tell you, that know matter how close you think you are to some of the family members, thy will never let you say anything that is negative about their blood family members. The best advice is from now on, just see the good in other people and uplift them. Then you won't have any more worries about it...you know..?? Good Luck...

If you had to ask the question then, yes she probably will tell. I have to wonder how ethical it is that no one knows that they are related and it seems they want to keep it a secret. Whats up with that?

I don't know how to answer since i worked in my auntie's company too. Actually i never put all the work matter in our family reunion. Maybe that's what people in my office think about me too.
