Should I ask him to talk with me?

there is this guy from my work( office next door) I am seeing when I don't go out with anyone else ( complicated enough;)
we used to meet and talk a lot about our work stuff ( most of the times a stuff that don't go out into the daylight, if you know what I mean - this is a small community hall, with 30 employees)and it usually ended in bed together and a few weeks ago I started to meet with another guy, which is fine, cos the relation with the one from the office works only when we are both single( it lasts for 3 years - with breaks for dating other people...it must sound ridiculus;), and we stopped seeing eachother after working hours.
but I realized that I miss our conversations, and even if I talk about things with my other friends, they will not understand me as he is the only one sharing my shoes(is that the proper expresssion?)
all right and finaly goes the question - should I ask the guy to meet me and talk to me?I don't want to sleep with him-just to add- I am seeing sb

ring him and tell him you miss your talks and see if he won ts to meet for coffee and just talk.

yes you should ask to talk to him but make it clear that is no sex you just miss your little chats and that you want to be m8s without the sex as you have a new relationship. if he can't deal with that its his problem and he doesn't deserve your friendship. if he does agree to it could b da start of a wonderfl platonic friendship just explain 2 ur new bloke that you at least have a gd male friend as he may think something is going on between the two of you and ruin your blossming new relationship. good luck

Being honest, if that was the "conversation" part you enjoyed with him why did you end up in bed with him???
I pretty much think the conversation was the excuse and sex was the goal...and surely it's not really the talking part you wanna have back...and this doesn't have to do with seeing somebody else or not. In fact it's natural seeing somebody and be attracted to someone else the same time...One way or another, didn't anyone ever tell you not to mix business with pleasure???

tell him what you want

Everyone makes mistakes especailly when lonely, but out of what you two had a friendship formed and you miss that and thats nice and explain this to him - he might be missing you as a friend too as its hard to come by good friends especially over so many years. Hope it works out as friends.

Don't set up a date by begging a guy to talk to you. He may start trying to dodge you if you seem to needy, emotional, or begging for attention. If you're friends and butt-buddies, you should be able to have a casual conversation, share gossip, and talk about current events, or even just make jokes.

Start off by giving him a compliment or casually flirting. Ask a question to get him talking. Get him to notice you... then, get him "interested" in wanting to see you later.

Yeah!! Tell him that you would like to be friends with him because you enjoyed talking with him!!! He should be cool with that !! Good luck !!!

sure what you got to loose - he obviously likes you to say ye were with each other - I think you should go for it.

if you are thinkin of flirting with him, u might still have interest in him. I have alwys dated ppl whom i can communicate in a deep level as i feel more appreciated and relaxed.
to have a partner who can truly understand u is a real blessing.. many couples think only of themselves and are not willing to compromise for each other..
Talkin to him is fine as long as he understands what u need from the friendship or relationship..
But really, if u can find a guy who understands u well enough to be comfortable with, stick with him.. many guys just act to be listening to you when all they want to do is sleep around.. make a good choice

what is sb? = some bloke?.
Personally i think that you should forget the other guy and talk to your new fella, Or you might find that if anyone tells him you will be in a whole world of trouble and I would not want to be the one standing in your shoes when that happens and it will. Trust me!!!
